Michel Nakache

EVP, Europe, McCann Health

Michel has more than 30 years’ experience dealing with advertisers in the pharmaceutical and health industries. He started as a medical representative for Searle Laboratories in 1976 and joined Glaxo Laboratories as Cardiology and Dermatology Group Leader before being recruited by Torrent Healthworld.

Between 1989 and 1992, Michel worked as a sales director and then as a development and strategy director. Subsequently, Michel took on the responsibility of the Ogilvy Zoe Medical management team. In 1996, under his impetus, the WWP group European Health Agencies joined forces under the “CommonHealth” name.

In 1998, Michel became President & CEO of Euro RSCG Healthcare France and was Managing Partner & CEO Europe/Asia of Euro RSCG Life Worldwide when he left the Havas group at the end of 2007.

Michel joined Publicis as President Europe of Publicis Healthcare Communications Group in December 2007.

In May 2008, Michel came back to Havas as Worldwide Managing Partner, Chairman EMEA/APAC & Chairman Global Brands of Havas Worldwide Health. After setting up the second Havas Health network: Health4Brands (H4B) at the end of 2010, Michel joined McCann Health as EVP Europe. He now leads the McCann Health European network and ensures the right people and resources are in place across the region, so that McCann can deliver great work and build strong client-agency relationships.
